to modify A, I, O, U and E:
(á, é, í, ó, ú)
while almost every consonant
in the modern written language
is modified simply by adding H.
So, once you have a grasp of the orthography,
it is obvious that Báile átha Clíath (Dublin)
is pronounced Bolya aw-ha Clee-ah.
