As the original six members of the European Common Market move to the 'right', Britain will move to the 'left' (but really only slightly 'left of centre').. The Presidency of the EU is now held and will possibly be damaged by Hungary's illiberal Orbán. The EU parliament has also moved to the 'right'. The USA may become quixotically quasi-fascist, rather like Poland between the world wars...
