'Post-natal Depression.'

'Are you a man who has suffered from PND?'
asks The Guardian newspaper.

I (and millions of others, both male and female)
have suffered bouts of post-natal depression
ever since I was born.  It's basically a result
of entering this world of misery, trauma and grief.
A primal form of PTSD.

I was once amused with the thought of racing past the unobservant road crew in front of my house to throw myself beneath the giant wheel that levels the new bituminous there and be flattened like a pancake. I was six years old.
I've been attempting the same trick, but by other means, ever since, yet minus the same effortless cognizance I experienced then.
