Indonesia set to make sex outside marriage punishable by jail
Indonesia's parliament expected to pass new criminal code that will also make insulting the president or state institutions a crime.
Let's not worry about Climate Catastrophe.
There are far more pressing issues.

This new rule will have been passed by the Indonesian government less to catch and shame the ordinary average adulterous citizen, and more to opportunistically smear the leading political opposition to them, the more to extend the government term in office. As badly framed laws go it might be marginally better than the Pakistan blasphemy laws, where to be accused of blasphemy practically means being guilty, because the accused cannot say that they did not say the blasphemous phrase because it means spelling out what they did not say which is itself blasphemous.
