Poets and philosophers of old


were not generally admired
except in romantic reports
by those who scarcely
or never knew them.
Defeat
is not unwelcome
when you're tired.

Poets do pack their bags and they do go home, but in a literal sense and not in the sense of the metaphorical cliché you so illogically use. Technology has disseminated poetry more now than any poet of the past ever dreamed possible. Your comment is a rant.
