Praise not

so little.

Here I am, your loyal follower from Germany, Lower Saxony. After like 2 years of reading your blog (nearly everyday with a few breaks, 'cause of spending some time in the Insane asylum (couldn't find a nicer word 'cause of my bad English skills)) I just wanted to say you 'Thank You' for all you Mind Opening Poems, I wish you all the best and a peaceful and happy death (but not too soon, because I'm still relatively young and need your ('cause I've never came across a living Mind like yours (most of the potentially similar guys died a long time ago)) input for my personal growth as a dissident, although I'm already much bigger (in Mind) then most of the people that surround me)!

Again, excuse me for my poor English and have a good rest of your life.

best regards,
Dada Vidalo (which is just a pseudonym)

Dear Dada,

Many thanks for getting in touch with me - I appreciate it greatly. I knew (from Statistics Information) that I had a 'follower' in Niedersachsen. I am in touch also with a 'follower' in Denmark who has sent me some poems - which will appear on my main website soon.

Your English is excellent. Insane Asylum is a Good Honest word. Most people's heads are Insane Asylum - with several doctors and patients all fighting...

If it is any comfort to you, I have got 'happier' as I have got older. Contempt is a great healer, but I also get on quite well with people and am very approachable!

Yours gratefully,

ANTHONY, an admirer of the great German poet, Hans Magnus Enzensberger.

Do you remember this Note http://dsdnt.blogspot.de/2012/03/come-back.html ?

You wrote that for me, it was a great honor for me being accosted by you in that time.

I admire your Cynic Lifestyle, in fact it was your Essay about Diogenes, that, not only brought my attention to the Philosophy of Cynicism, but also to your blog (I found that Essay by googling 'Diogenes', 'cause I was curious about that guy). Thank you also for that, the Cynics made me more confident in my way of Life. Coming from a poor Family (being the Son Parents who immigrated from Poland to Germany in the late 80's 'cause they hoped for a better life and had to start from Zero) and living a Life in the Way of the Cynics long before I knew about Diogenes.

Knowing that you and I live simultaneously in the same time gives me great hope.

again,
best regards,
Dada Vidalo

I think 'accosted' was the wrong Word, blame my poor English Skills. What I wanted to say was, I think, being addressed, or spoken to, by you.

Oh, I like "accosted" - it is more exciting than being merely "addressed". But in fact, it I was I who accosted you by addressing that "Come back Lower Saxony" blog to you.

But I must warn you against hope. Perhaps it was the 'serpent' in the 'Garden of Eden'....or maybe it was the fruit on the tree of Stupidity.

I am not really a true follower of Diogenes, more an admirer. I live in a house. My other 'follower' in Denmark is much more Diogenean and Santokan - and honest - than I.

Your English is excellent! Please do not apologise.

It takes no honesty and courage to gather wealth in this culture,in fact, you're rewarded for the opposite. Given the insistence on possession as being an indicator your worth, you need to strip your life until is a haiku. Simplete but replete with meaning. To quote a song I heard recently,'Don't let the cowards stir your life by their fears'
