Thoughts on The New Literacy

or, The English Language changes faster than Others.

Less has beaten fewer to a pulp.
Multiple has liquidated many, several and a lot.
Summonsed is summoned up instead of summoned.
Turds have been infantilised to poo.
Papers are now rifled and not riffled
proffer is offered instead of offer -
I don't know about you,
but it seems to me that verbal
accuracy has gone to pot,
and the language is turning into goo.
