Growing Older

Imperceptibly  Fleetingly.

Thoughts and good ideas
for blogs and poems
so fleeting that
they vanish from
my addling brain
within six seconds
irretrievably and perceptibly
every day
sometimes every hour

But if I can keep them
for thirty seconds
they will be retained

and often rejected.
But not this one.
