I can discern the difference between
Homophonic and Homophobic
only by watching your lips.
The advantage of being
'a little hard of hearing'
is that I can tell people
that I'm more than a bit deaf,
and thus avoid chit-chat
(which I find very wearing)
and being talked at
and talked at.
