Nation States are like Backward Children
mainly because politicians
are backward and backward-looking -
which is one reason why they keep talking
about going forward.
Come to think of it : human beings
(compared with dogs and bonobos)
are a 'backward' species.
Can 'evolution' be retrograde ?
