I learn that it is short for
Bollinger Bolsheviks - a more-catchy version of
Champagne Socialists.

There is also Bohunk - An immigrant from Central or Eastern Europe, especially one who is regarded as vain, aggressively masculine, and socially unsophisticated. Yes, that is so fitting......
