If you expected him to play you like a piano in a public lavatory the way he played the piano here then it would help if you were well tuned, homosensually speaking, before you went into the public toilet. From memory, many public toilets I knew of tended to be damp and dank, with a frequent lack of toilet paper and the lights not always working in the evenings either. This made their homosensual attendees easily go out of tune with each other, which in turn made it more difficult for them to wring a composition that has much sustenance and character out of each other, though that did not stop them trying-often it made them try harder to find the tune that made them sing.
I suspect that Sr Arrau might have been a cum-and-run merchant, as were most in those days (1950s-1990s). However, he might just have brought me back to his hotel and played the piano rather than me. (I certainly would not have had the experience to play him!) On the other hand, I doubt that there are even Bechsteins in hotel bedrooms, let alone a Steinway.
