Tired Words

"Next to the threat of International Terrorism
is that of Domestic Extremism."

I am the most domestic of extremists,
loving to sip pastis and smoke a cigar
between the gasp and the gap of sweet
solitude in front of the evening fire, as I hone
my misanthropy and oil my antinatalism,
singing a song beloved of Religious Extremists:
"This world is not my home"...

Religion is the opium of the masses, alienation comes with a frame, welcome the next world where the consequences of this world won't matter.
