On one of his 'Off-Days'

Einstein wrote:
“Imagination is more important than knowledge.
For knowledge is limited to all we now know and understand,
while imagination embraces the entire world,
and all there ever will be to know and understand.”

But because our imagination is so limited,
we know too much and understand too little,
and what we strive to know
is censored by our pitiful imagination.
