The armchair

is the armpit
of comfort.
So how appropriate it was to read
that the Turkish for armchair
is the Uzbek for armpit.
(Uzbek is a Turkic language.)
However,
checking imperfectly online,
I found that koltuk in Turkish
can also mean sofa
- and even an ottoman! -
while the Uzbek for armpit
is qebyz according to one source
and qo'ltiq according to another.
Why did I bother ?!
