Social Capitalism

is, as you might expect,
fairly similar to the economic variety.
Social success
also depends on ruthlessness,
whom you know,
networking so that you get to know the right people,
being at the right place at the right time
(usually an important city),
and other forms of luck -
and, finally, some actual talent,
but not too much.

The essence of social capitalism is that private markets are the most effective allocation mechanism, and output is maximized through sound state macroeconomic management of the economy.
