Human history

is full of Sexual Revolutions.
The most remarkable
was probably that of ancient Greece
which honoured a very honourable
kind of 'homosexual',
sensual, affectionate
but unpenetrative love.

The greatest and most recent
sexual revolution, however,
could have been the invention
of the contraceptive pill.

Yet - probably because of the
pernicious power of every
great and almost every little sect
of Christianity and Islam -
it has had far less 'impact'
on population, societies, morality
than the ancient Greek
non-contractual
but loyal love-compact.
