The systematic sabotage of children's lives

Perhaps the extremist American
view of the nation-state is correct.
It forces children of even the most needy

to waste their eager years in school
learning nothing useful, nothing relevant
beyond that they must be functions of Society,
the jellyfish State which fails
to control the powerful, rich and greedy.

There is only a small - but hugely hypocritical - difference between forcing children to get up in the dark to go down a mine or enter a sweatshop,
and forcing them to spend 8-10 hours of their day going to mind-pinching, mind-numbing, mind-moulding schools.
