warp of hypocrisy

The more that humans achieve

the emptier they become.

to incarcerate the living
for being dead.

is a freshly
butchered calf.

Apart from our turds

(which dung-beetles like)
and our corpses
(which vultures value)
and our blood
(which nourishes leeches)
and our bones
(which dogs love to bury)
the only good thing that humans produce
(and which few other animals appreciate
is music.

Eluctable

modality of nothingness
swallowed by the shouting
unheard past

Grace

is stone, fur, fruit
catastrophe.
God is disease
of idea.

Life is

the cheapest thing on the planet.

Some of the homeless

carry a brick around with them
to show that they once
had a house.

The Olympic Games:

the conquest of intelligence
by will.

Religion

is Jihad
against sanity.

All the words

ever spoken
shouted
whispered
and written
will come to nothing.

Original Sin

is taking yourself
seriously.

Terrorism

corrupts terrorists
just as consumption
corrupts consumers.

God is praised,

described, interpreted, denied
upon the pulp of trees.
And God is a tree.

Few man-made things

are as wonderful to look at
as a fire.

The most intelligent

being on the planet
uses his intelligence in unintelligent ways
and wipes out almost everything -
including (at last) himself:
another evolutionary error.
So,
'intelligence' is just a fancy word
for 'pathological cunning'.

Purple

things are often splendid.

Kissing

was considered sinful
in medieval Europe.
But it is now
unacceptable to be
a hermit.

Civilisation

is the manipulation
of desire.

The most important ingredient

in the recipe for dinner
is someone to share it with.

In love and war

everything's unfair.
And life's
a knife
in dying air.

LOYALTY

Because we invented it,
time has been too long
on our side.

Because we are
time's product,
we have passed our sell-by date.

Stupidity

is much more elaborate
than wisdom.

Looking forward

to death - to non-being
is a kind of paradox.
Mortality rocks.

During the Black Death

the principal scapegoats
were Lepers and Jews.
The Gypsies had not then arrived.

Dissidents

are just the few and only people
who dare - or bother - to think
outside the corral of conformity.

War

is peace on the rampage.

can be worst.
