Failing worse.

From late childhood I imagined myself as
A Writer.
                    Unfortunately,
I can write neither narrative nor dialogue,
have never felt unloved, and am a happy 'failure'.
I do not see life, the world, the universe
in terms of beginnings, middles and ends,
but as a jumble of discrete and often contradictory
events, reactions, consequences and trends.

There are more than enough words anyway. That's why vows of silence are highly esteemed in spiritual communities. Making music or paintings is far more noble, effective and infinitely less egotistical.
