In 1983 United States forces invaded Grenada,
a tiny, sovereign island in the Caribbean
(in an operation dubbed Urgent Fury),
occupied it for several weeks
and removed its Prime Minister,
whom president Reagan said was a mad,
bad commie stooge
who threatened the security of the Americas.
The USSR made very little noise about this
outrageous event. After all, Grenada was
in the USA's back yard...
As they say in slightly-larger Albania:
