I am only my passport.

Most people define themselves by an imposed (or, if they are lucky, chosen) identity -
something I never wanted or understood. I remain undefined,
except by the passport I would rather not have to have.
Am I 'socially blind' ?

Last year at a Christmas drink, I was asked what my role in life was. I insisted that it was keeping my bed warm. It was not an acceptable answer in their mental multi-choice questionnaire.

Amazing phrase "role in life". Shakespeare has a hell of a lot to answer for in equating living with theatrics.

I hope that you are Fulfilling your Manifest Destiny by keeping your bed warm. I, a lower class of person, depend on the degenerate if not debauching assistance of an electric blanket.

Brilliant! Could there be a better response ?
