When we stop worshipping the elements,
spirits and gods, we don't stop worshipping.
We find something else to bow down before - progress
for example, education, acquisitive rationalism,
political systems, justice, truth, revenge :
material answers to spiritual questions
which are themselves deluded.

Thank you for a great blog. Question 1-Are there spiritual questions that are not deluded? Question 2-Do all spiritual questions worth answering require only spiritual answers? Finally how many in your list, from education to revenge are abstractions of material matters which are not spiritual but for us to deal with them right we require them to have some name between the spiritual and material?
