The ultimate stupidity:

to combat death,
but the engendering of human life
is the most destructive
waste of breath.

I have been debating for days how to respond to this cynicism. First of all, in Mexican Spanish, the word "estupido" is a horrendous existential judgment, which has no equivalent in English, and whose expressive dynamic is also ironic--it implicates not only the subject receiving the judgment but also the speaker and his interlocutor as being stupid for even speaking and hearing the word stupid. Spanish with its two verbs ("ser" and "estar") for existence is unique in many ways. Secondly, I have a very "green" penis. I am the only man in my acquaintance who has ever proudly and publicly and frequently acknowledged that he remembers each of the three apocalyptic fucks that conceived his three now-grown children. That does not mean I have had sex only three times or that I have had sex so infrequently that I can remember these events as special, and it does not mean that I intended to make a baby when I was making love. I am very proud of my two sons and one daughter. i relish their rebellion (yes, against me) and their unique atypical paths through life. Thirdly, but by no means finally, to realize the fragility and vulnerability, the agonizing of the agony and the enduring intensity of the ecstasy of our human consciousness, the corporeal and mental beauty and ugliness of who we are is to celebrate what is incomparable on this planet.
