Why, guys, look at the glass half empty? However you regard these ladies, they have to be an improvement over the likes of Donald Rumsfeld and his "Defense" counterparts in England and France. I heard the German female defense minister interviewed for NPR (National Public Radio in USA) and she told an astounded reporter that she worked mostly from home and refused to attend the numerous cocktail parties in Berlin that she was invited to in order to stay with her children.
Why look at the glass half full? Guys, these ladies have to be an improvement over the likes of Donald Rumsfeld and his British and French counterparts that got everybody involved in Afghanistan! I heard the new German defense minister (the one on the far left) interviewed for National Public Radio (USA). She told an astounded reporter she worked mostly from home and that she refused to attend evening meetings or cocktail parties so she could be with her children.
We are looking at the big picture, Marcus. But, you are right. German minister was recently visiting her troops in Senegal. All 80 of them ! She had them over for some schnitzel and allowed her kids to play with their guns. Also, she refused to go shopping to the Senegal's downtown.
These are momentous leaps, really. And to add--the Norwegian minister has a hand in the Norwegian navy's removal of biological/chemical weapons from Syria (the 4% that have been removed) and handing them off to--where else?--to the American navy for disposal.

This is depressing and yet amusing.
Instead of "empowering women",
they have converted them into men!
Now, they are powerful all right,
but no longer truly women.
If they at least converted into good men...
