We (especially men)
tend to say I think that...
rather than I feel that...
which is why one of humankind's
most famous, narcissistic
and influential dimwits wrote
in pompous Latin, Cogito, ergo sum
(I think, therefore I am),
rather than Sentio, ergo sum
(I feel, therefore I am)
– thus contributing in no small measure
to suffering on Earth.
