Taraxacum

Love is less the lion's tooth* -
more a stain of piss upon a sheet
- that spreads - like sappy, spotty youth -
and soon or later
in defeat
fades in the prick's
particle-decelerator.

"Taraxacum" is why I keep coming back to this blog: I always learn something, dandelion. I like Yeats's metaphor--Yeats was indeed a lion in winter, pursuing sex into his seventies (until he died) with a woman much younger to explore the delights of tantra, a situation tolerated by his wife--it speaks well of the power and fruitfulness of the dandelion's seeding even at the end of its cycle, as anyone with a garden can attest to the dandelion's invincible fertilities, rather than the dribbling of a desiccated old-age cock you describe here. The nature in your title here points to the many meanings of male seeding at the end much more than the man-made particle-decelerator does.
