In an era where professional sportspeople are paid disgusting amounts of money to pursue their ego glory while being cheered on by the ignorant hordes, the fact that people who play GAA are paid nothing and sacrifice a fair bit of their lives for love of the game/parish/county is a noble thing in my eyes.
