In present day France the reports of riotous and destructive behavoir have travelled far and wide. I doubt that those causing civil unrest and material loss, or those opposing them with water cannon and tear gas, are prsently saying 'I act therefore I am', as they oppose each other. If they did would it make them 'actors'?
