Poets should not be piffle-mongers

dispensing clichés of petty comfort,
descriptions of beauty,
or gobbets of private pain
to the normals. Poets should rage
against the evil of our species,
its bad judgement,
its monstrous brain, and the mad
perpetuation of our insane rampage.
