'The grief of losing 20 relatives in Gaza.'

Imagine having 20 relatives to lose
(or even a father) ...
I'm glad that I have none.

In another newspaper article
I read that people's lives collapse
if their mobile phones are snatched
Leave the totalitarian things at home !

How right you are to say 'leave the smart phone at home'. Not least for how that keeps the data it collects cheap, by linking it with home wi-fi. Smartphones are very useful for banking security and many other online security/means of receiving codes. But for everyday life I use mine mostly to direct callers to my landline, which for it being simpler I am less confused by, keeping the main digital workload for the laptop. The right tools for the right job is what prefer, it stops the tools I use being oppressive.

Unfortunately, many people are required by their employers to carry satanic phones with them at all times. 'Free World' ? Ha! ha!
