quoth President Biden on renouncing his bid for a second term in office,
"An idea stronger than any army,
bigger than any ocean,
more powerful than any dictator or tyrant."
This pretty well sums up the arrogance and vainglory
of a nation-state which has been the greatest tyrant
and most successful and murderous thought-dictator
and regime-imposer the world has ever known.
