pretension to snobbery,has a favourite hated neologism.
Mine is already sixty years old,and I still loathe the word:
life-style/lifestyle
I have had (still have) a life, not a fashion, not a presentationnor an image, nor a style.
I heard this neologism in the voice over for a recent advert for over-processed dog food on youtube, 'Whatever your dog's lifestyle' the voice over began. As an example of over-processed language I share your loathing the phrase...
