I have lived 30 years in this damp house

and I can truly say
that this morning was the first time
that I found a boiled slug at the bottom of my bowl
of café-au-lait.

  2. Could be...but for some unknown reason is not. The moral of my tale is that if you have a hand-thrown stoneware coffee-bowl glazed with beautiful dark colours, look inside it before you pour your carefully-made coffee into it. The slug, being tasteless like a snail, made no difference to the taste.
