Our unique power of reason

should liberate us from hierarchies.
Instead, we have created
not just hideous hierarchies of wealth,
but also murderous hierarchies of misunderstanding.

    Hierarchies derive from all paternalistic dualisms. The hierarchy of wealth is merely one of them.
