To my mind

RESPECTED
is the most insulting
adjective describing anyone.

I can't decide whether FECUND
or DISTINGUISHED
should come second.

    I hope that Edna O'Brien would cringe at being called "the distinguished Irish novelist" by the BBC, who broadcast her reading excerpts from her memoir 'County Girl' this week on Radio 4.
