Narkissos

looked into the mire-bottomed
pool of his mind,
and was amazed, absorbed
by its complexity, mere
narcotic complexity.

Nemesis 
is now called Entropy.
Narkissos
(now called Humanity)
never looked out again
and died in the rotting
labyrinth of his brain.
